Eight weeks until 2012 begins! It sounds trite to ask, 'where does the time go?'

2011 has been a great year at ISHR Group. We measure our success in terms of the level of energy and passion we have for what we do, our ability to do great work for our clients and the knowledge that we build ongoing relationships and partnerships, the fact that our team continues to grow with talented professionals who add to our reputation for providing stellar services in the world of leadership assessment, development and coaching, and the knowledge that we are making a postiive impact in so many ways.

Our focus on total well-being, both personally and professionally, is important to us. While we believe we impact well-being on a daily basis as we work with leaders around the world, we are also proud of others ways in which we give back. We recently funded a scholarship through an orgaization focused on helping women to educate themselves and improve their lives. Earlier this summer, we worked with 75 high school students from across the state of Georgia to help them better understand who they are and what they stand for in terms of leadership/their leadership style. We will be putting our money (and our energy!) where our mouth is when we not only sponsor, but also participate by running, in a 5k in November that supports providing fresh water supplies to villages in Africa. How fitting! While we work all over the world, we had never worked with leaders in Africa until this year! It made sense for us to support this program. Our formal 'Opting In/Giving Back' program has contributed additional funds to several charitable organizations around the world and what is really neat is that these organizations are selected by our consultants, not by us!
